Deborah de Corral is an Argentinean singer songwriter (Latin Grammy nominee) TV personality and chef.
Deborah’s passion for cooking started in her teens, when she left her home in Buenos Aires to pursue a career in modeling that took her all around the globe. Getting to know such diverse cultures and gastronomies got her specially interested in spices and how certain flavor profiles shape the personality and of the different cuisines of the world. Years later as a musician she got to travel a lot through Latin America, where she fell in love with their cuisine. Four years ago she moved to the US.
Deborah’s cooking style is eclectic, taking from the many cuisines she knows and loves, but focusing on flavors from Argentina, Latin America and South East US (Florida, Louisiana) with a little of that “farm to table” fresh approach from California, where she spent over two years researching and training.
Whenever possible she loves to cook outdoors on an open flame and she’s always looking for ways to take that wild flavor of the outdoors into the kitchen and onto her dishes.
Eduardo Suarez came to Miami in 2001 quickly working his way up the hospitality industry until he finally decided to move to Brooklyn NY, where he opened his first ever restaurant El Almacén, a now iconic Argentine Steakhouse.
It was then he discovered his passion for design and conceptualization of food and beverage spaces.
After the great success of his first venture he decided to take the best corner in Williamsburg and convert it into Rosarito Fish Shack , a mexican seafood restaurant and mezcalería , immediately followed by Shelter Pizza right next door.
Suarez, who moved back to Miami in 2016 has opened Casa Florida, a bar focusing on specialty cocktails and an Old Florida vibe, alongside partners Gaston Gonzales, Avra Sarasa, and Roam.
His latest venture is Tigre Bar & Kitchen, a restaurant and bar with Argentine flair by the water (Little River, Upper East Side) partnering with Argentine chef Deborah de Corral, scheduled to open May 2018.
